    পরবাস পত্রিকাটি পড়ে অসাধারণ লাগল। কীভাবে আপনারা এই অসাধ্য সাধন করলেন তা জানতে ইচ্ছে করছে। আজকের সাংস্কৃতিক অবক্ষয়ের যুগে পত্রিকাটির আরও শ্রীবৃদ্ধি কামনা করছি।

    It was a real pleasure to see Bengali script on the internet. I could read only the first page of the article (Probodh Chandra Sen). From it, it appears that it is as good as in print media. At last Bengalis can browse Bengali articles, wherever they are!

    Why don’t you float great works of literature on the net? It would benefit all those who do not have access to any Bengali library.

    সম্পাদক:- যদিও আন্তর্জালে বাংলা আকর গ্রন্থের অনুপস্থিতি পীড়াদায়ক, পরবাস-এর পক্ষে সে বিষয়ে এখনই কিছু করা সম্ভব নয় বলে দু:খিত।

    সাম্প্রতিক “দেশ” পত্রিকায় আপনাদের প্রয়াসের খবর পেয়ে পরবাসে website দেখলাম। এই সঙ্গে পরবাসের বসন্ত সংখ্যা পাঠ করার সুযোগ পেলাম। আপনাদের অভিনন্দন জানাচ্ছি এই সাধু প্রয়াসের জন্য। বাংলা ভাষা ও কৃষ্টিকে দেখছি আপনারা ভুলতে দেবেন না এত যোজন দূরে থেকেও। বোধ হয় দিল্লীতে থেকেও আপনাদের থেকে অনেক কিছু শেখার আছে আমাদের।

    গত পরশুদিন “পরবাস”-এর কথা জানতে পারলাম। এর মধ্যে আপনাদের বর্তমান এবং আগের চারটে সংখ্যা প্রায় পড়ে ফেলেছি। দারুণ লাগলো, বিশেষ করে দেশ থেকে এত দূরে বসে। আপনারা পাঠকদের সমগ্র ভাবে অংশগ্রহণের জন্যে ডেকেছেন, এই approach-টা ভীষণ ভাল। আপনাদের এই প্রচেষ্টা অবশ্যই সাফল্যর সঙ্গে এগিয়ে যাবে, এই আশা রাখি।

    ‘পরবাস’ দুরন্ত, অভিনব। … পরিচ্ছন্ন, মননশীল, পরিবশনায় মুনসিয়ানা। গবেষণাধর্মী কিছু লেখা অন্য মাত্রা জুড়েছে।

    কার্টুন ও ছড়া থাকলে আরো ভাল হয়। লোগো খুব ভাল হয়েছে।

    পরবাস পড়লাম ও দেখলাম। সুদূর প্রবাসে বসে বাংলা “webzine” আঙুলের ডগায় পেয়ে দা-রু-ণ লাগল। বাংলা হরফ, Unicode, রোমান হরফে বাংলা লেখা ইত্যাদি নিয়ে চিঠিপত্রের আদান-প্রদানে বিশেষ উৎসাহ রইল কারণ বাংলায় যোগাযোগ করতে গিয়ে এই সমস্যার সম্মুখীন সবাইকেই হতে হচ্ছে। পরবাস একটি নতুন ও প্রয়োজনীয় প্রচেষ্টা তাতে সন্দেহ নেই।

    সম্পাদক: আপনার প্রশ্ন যদি শুধু কম্পিউটারে বাংলা ফন্টে কীভাবে লেখা যায় সে বিষয়ে হয় তাহলে পরবাসের দ্বিতীয় সংখ্যা-তে প্রকাশিত পারমিতা দাসের “কম্পিউটার মাধ্যমে বাংলা বর্ণমালা” লেখাটি পড়তে অনুরোধ করছি। আর যদি আপনার প্রশ্নটি পরবাসে লেখা পাঠানো সংক্রান্ত হয় তাহলে উপরের ন্যাভিগেশন বারের লেখা “লেখা পাঠান” অংশটি দেখতে অনুরোধ করছি।



    হঠাৎ করে পরবাস হাতে পেয়ে ভীষণ ভাল লাগল। লেখা কীভাবে পাঠাতে হবে জানতে পারলে ভাল হত। আমি সরাসরি e-mail করে দিতে পারি কি?

    আপনাদের পরবাস-এর জন্য জানাই ধন্যবাদ। এটা খুবই ভাল লাগছে যে আপনাদের জন্য বাংলায় কিছু পড়তে পারা যাবে কম্পিউটারে। নববর্ষ ১৪০৫-এর কিছু নিশ্চয়ই পরের সংখ্যায় দেখা যাবে।

    ….Some comments on Parabaas. The name is really appropriate. Just a suggestion: you may include short stories (chhota galpa), articles on travel (Bhraman) in Parabaas.

    1. All the students coming from Bangladesh do not work in hotels and restaurants as waiters. I have a lot friends who are doctors, engineers, university professors, and businessmen.

    2. Dr G.C Dev was killed on 26th March, not on the 14th December.

    3. There are more mistakes. I just mentioned a few.

    1. When a social statement is made it is not made on a 100% basis. I am talking about a majority. Most of my bangladeshee friends did not fall into the category. I described. The number of persons coming….. on student visa and not studying or continuing their studies and then working in the hospitality industry is greatest in case of Bangladesh (among Asian countries) and is really very high in number.

    2. That is possible, and I would stand corrected.


    First of all, I would like to congratulate you and others related to the publication of ‘Parabaas’. It was desirable at the age of electronic revolution for the sake of Bengali language as well as Bengali speaking nation. I came to know the name of this electronic paper form a writing of Sunil Ganguly. It’s nice that I can read in computer a Bengali journal from my department or in my room every month. Congratulation again!!

    The ‘Kathopokathan’ between ‘Neta’ and ‘Durneeti’ is excellent. Please keep it up. ‘Bangla-r-Mukh’, your short story is worth reading but the pencil drawn pictures are fantastic. Similarly, I am also rural (village) oriented; I have also interesting experiences about my boyhood. May I share this with you? But I have to write in English letters- not ‘Bangla Manuscript’ – this is the problem.
